What we price
| DOB or ECB certificate of correction, per summons (paid-but-open summonses included; licensed-trade items only with the contractor's sign-off or inspection report) | $250 |

What we do not price
- Hearing pending. Hearing pending: you or your attorney attend. We can prepare the paperwork after the hearing. We do not represent anyone at OATH hearings.
- Needs a licensed professional first. Stop-work orders, structural or engineer reports, facade (FISP) items, work that does not match or is contrary to approved plans, protection of neighboring property, shoring, and work without a permit when the fix needs a permit or sign-off. Needs a licensed professional first. Custom quote.
- Anything we are not sure about. Needs review first. Custom quote.
- HPD violations still inside the correction window, and HPD Class I notices. Not priced.
If a building has more than 15 filings we can price, we show the price of the first five filings and give a full quote after review.
When you pay
- DOB items: our fee is due only after DOB receives your filing, shown when the DOB NOW: Safety request shows "Pending QA Admin Assignment" after you, the owner, have attested. We send you the request number and a screenshot the same day.
- HPD items: our fee is due only after HPD receives your filing, shown when USPS Certified Mail shows "Delivered" to HPD at 345 Adams Street. The tracking number and the delivery date go on the invoice.
- The $150 case setup fee, when your quote has one, is due once, with your case's first DOB fee, never up front. A case with only an HPD Dismissal Request has no setup fee. The setup fee is refunded only if no DOB filing in your case is accepted.
- Every case is priced per item. A case with 5 or more filings also gets a closing status report for your attorney, included at no extra charge.
- If an agency rejects a filing because of a paperwork defect we caused, we redo it free or refund our fee for that filing. For an HPD Dismissal Request this also covers a rejection for a registration or litigation issue we were paid to check.
How it works: we send you a written scope with the price for each item; you accept it by typing your name; then you pay by card or invoice when each fee comes due. Nothing is charged before then.

What is not included
Our price covers our paperwork and tracking only. Repairs, engineers, permits, fines and city fees are separate.
The City's HPD Dismissal Request fee depends on the building. You pay HPD's fee directly to HPD when the request is filed. It is not part of our fee. It is shown as its own line in your quote.
