Who we are

What we collect

• Address lookups. The address you search, so we can show public records for it. Lookups without an email are stored as a count by source only.
• Email capture. If you ask us to email you a report, we store your email address, the address you looked up, the date, and the page or ad it came from.
• Quote and intake requests. If you request a quote or help, we store your name, email, phone (if you give one), how you prefer to be contacted, the address, the items in the quote, and any notes you add. This is your lead record.
• Accepting a scope. If you accept a written scope, we store the name you typed, the time, your IP address and a fingerprint of the document you accepted.
• Letter opt-outs. If you tell us a property is already fixed or not yours, we store the property and your reason so we never write about it again.
• Analytics events. We record these events: letter page visits, lookups, quote and scope requests, email capture, taps on our call or text links (click-to-call), and the steps of an engagement (scope sent, scope accepted, payment). Each event stores the time, the traffic source and mailing batch, UTM campaign and term, the ad group, and, for visitors from Google Ads, the Google click ID (gclid). If we turn on Google Ads conversion measurement, Google receives the same events through its tag and cookies under Google's own privacy policy.

We do not collect payment cards on this site. We do not sell your email address or your lead record.

Public records

Violation data comes from NYC Open Data (HPD, DOB, OATH/ECB, PLUTO). It is public information about a building, not private information about you. Open Data can lag the agencies.

How we use it

• To send the report you asked for.
• To prepare a quote and contact you about it.
• To follow up occasionally about clearing violations at the address you looked up.
• To measure which pages and ads lead to requests, so we can improve them.

Opt-out and deletion

Every email we send includes a one-click opt-out link. After you opt out we do not email you again. To have your lead record deleted, or to stop analytics measurement, contact us: hello@correctednyc.com · (347) 766-4540. You can also block Google Ads cookies in your browser; the site keeps working.

Retention and security

We keep lead records for as long as needed to follow up and for our business records, then delete them on request. Access to lead data is limited to our staff behind an admin token.
